Brothers Rolf and Andreas Hartge
founded Carlsson Autotechnik GmbH in 1989. The aim
of the new company was and is to combine individual
parts and accessories with high-grade technology for
Mercedes-Benz cars. They found an outstanding development
partner in the person of the well-known Swedish racing
and rally driver, Ingvar Carlsson, who gave his name
to the company. The focus of the company's activities
is on producing individual cars tailored to the customer's
requirements. For Carlsson, this means: restrained
and elegant design combined with high-grade materials,
as well as technical perfection distinguished by an
ideal appearance.
The result: a multifarious range of products covering
the spectrum from A to S, ML and GL Class. From
supercharging systems and electronic power kits
for diesel engines to ultra-light forged wheels,
Carlsson stands for in-house engineering expertise
that flows in to all products developed by Carlsson
engineers. Tuned to perfection at the largest automobile
centre in the Middle East for Carlsson. From interiors,
aerodynamics, and body kits to sport suspensions
